AñoNuevo

I think I am in the same boat as TyTy...I don't so much look forward to New Years, I look forward to the New Years blog post.
Because that's where I do everything I'm technically supposed to do on New Years.
And it is technically New Years Eve today, so I suppose it just all fell into place.

My stars are aligned.

Last year, I did not make my typical resolution, to "Make 20_ _ the Best Year Yet".  I figured that was a given and I no longer needed to make it a goal.
Instead, I resolved to WHISTLE.
And whistle I did.
I'm especially proud of this achievement.  Now for fine-tuning it.  Both literally and...literally...

BUT ALSO, 2011 was actually the best year yet!
What a treat!
Here's how:

Concerts:
-Martin Sexton, U2, and Mason Jennings were definitely the most notable for obvious reasons.  Both Bono and Mason were on my MUST SEE list and Martin is just the best concert ever.
-MotherMother, Yukon Blonde, Jordan Klassen, Black Keys, Sam Roberts, Matthew Good.  ALL wonderful!

Favorite Albums:  She&Him: Christmas, Matthew Good: Lights of An Endangered Species, Mason Jennings: Minnesota

Favorite Books Read:  IT'S TOO HARD.  I suppose I could say my minor-indulgence in certain authors was particularly enjoyable, such as:  Farley Mowat, John Steinbeck, Cormac McCarthy, Orhan Pamuk.

Trips:
-Cambodia, Ontario:  My big trips of the year.  Getting to go back to Cambodia for the second time and see the beautiful chitlens at Place of Rescue was amazing.  Ontario was just perfect.
-Vancouver part 1,2,3, and Oregon.  ALL magical.  The West Coast nails it EVERY time.  Good food, good music, good people, ocean.

Achievements:  Photographing 2 weddings of my dear friends.
Starting Disability Studies Program at Mt Royal and pwning.
Making it halfway through Twilight Princess. (this next year is for YOU, Zelda!)

Fiancé's:  One!  Colin C Chubachi.  That's an achievement right there.

As for 2012?  I really don't know yet.
I'm pretty sure that the "Best Year Yet" title is already well in the works, considering I am getting married to a hot bearded half Jap and we get to have sexy times in a cabin in the woods.  JustSAYYYYIN.

(so much blog line crossing in that sentence)

I'll try and think of some resolutions not related to video games and get back to you.

Thanks for reading, my bloggy-friends!
Happy New Year!!

I have to say
I never thought
Although I knew you could
I would ever hear you say
" Bang a Half Jap in the woods"
